Wedding Videography FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should you invest in Warwick Adventures wedding videography?

I’m very passionate about what I do and have invested years of experience perfecting video shooting methods and mastering the flow of a wedding day. I’ve invested in high-quality filming equipment and professional editing software.  I also spend between around 40 hours into each handcrafted film package so each film has consistency and a high level of excellence.  I have a long background in audio production and sound equipment and this knowledge always comes in useful when working with your DJ and insuring that all of those special audio moments are captured correctly.

How long does it take for me to receive my completed wedding film?

Post production on your wedding film is a very detail oriented process, from finding the perfect music, to the perfect color grade, I never want to rush the process. Most wedding films are completed within 2-3 months of your wedding date. If for some reason it will be longer, I will contact you directly and let you know what the schedule will be!

How are payments set up?

  • 25% payment retainer due on signing agreement to secure your wedding date.
  • Balance remainder payment due 30 days prior to event date.
  • OR – you can save 5% off your total price by paying in full during time of booking.

Will you travel to my wedding location?

I LOVE to travel. I enjoy filming new places and venturing to fun destinations. If your wedding is over 60 miles outside of the Denver metro area I can discuss any travel costs with you personally during the booking process.

How is music chosen?

Warwick Adventures will select and purchase music that is legally licensed for commercial use to avoid possible legal complications for unauthorized use of copyrighted music. This will allow your special day to be the center of attention and not a hit song that may go out of style in a few years. Clients are welcome to communicate their musical style preference before the wedding date.

Do we need to meet with you before the wedding?

Ideally yes!  I’d love to meet you and get to know you. It’s important to discuss all the details of your day to ensure I capture every moment. However, I understand that some couple remote plan their wedding and cannot always arrange meetings before their wedding. In this instance, a Skype/FaceTime/telephone conversation or two would suffice.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with Panasonic and Canon cameras and a collection of professional level lenses.  I also use a tripod, monopod, sometimes a DJI drone and a small gimbal stabilizer for smooth cinematic motion shots.  Audio is paramount to a quality film so I bring multiple recorders and microphones.  Small spotlight for reception and dance floor illumination. There are no wires or big, bulky cases.

Can I get all of the Raw footage?

RAW video footage is an add-on available for purchase.

There are many moments in the day that are captured but just didn’t make it into the creative edit. We do not store wedding footage indefinitely and it will be deleted eventually.  Raw footage it is not a finished product ready for sharing. It is un-edited, non color corrected, on-camera microphone audio, footage.  Also included is the separate audio files from the recorders.

What happens if you get sick or you need to cancel?

This have never happened thus far (knock on wood).  However in the case of this happening, I have strong connections with other videographers in the area that will fill in for me under my direction and brand.  I will still handle the editing and delivery.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. If your venue requires proof of coverage, please forward that info to me and I will take care of that for you.
