Shupe Homestead Longmont Wedding Photography // Conner & Amanda

January 26, 2020

What an incredibly beautiful wedding day with Conner and Amanda.  From meeting them over at Red Frog Coffee way back in March to discuss capturing their engagement session, it was an absolute pleasure getting to know them and being able to document this special moment in their lives.  Amanda beautifully adorned her mother and grandmother’s wedding dress and jewelry so it was so incredible to witness the proud and emotional moments with her family.

Shupe Homestead in Longmont is a wedding venue that is tucked away from town and offers wonderful mountain views and surrounding horse pastures.  There was no shortage of thoughtfully inspired areas to take photos at.  We loved the rustic and classic vibe and decorations including an old barn, a dreamy pond, mature trees, a pergola, outdoor chandeliers… it was just an outstanding place for a wedding.

Love story: Connor and I first met at a Halloween party 7 years ago, but Connor was too shy to talk to me. After another 3 years, we ran into each other again at a friend’s birthday… This time, Connor had the gumption to talk to me 😉 but not to ask for my number. Instead, he friended me on Facebook, and weeks later tricked me into going on our first date via an Atmosphere concert at Red Rocks.  Connor and I bonded over hiking, dogs, good food (fattening food), a love of cooking shows on Netflix, and visiting as many breweries as possible.
